Iowa State University defensive tackle David Irving was arrested Wednesday (November 13, 2013) night in Ames, Iowa.
Irving, 20, was arrested for an alleged domestic assault. He allegedly held his girlfriend down and cut a large portion of hair off. He also allegedly punched her in the leg several times. Irving and his girlfriend live together and have a minor child together.
Irving, a junior, has 16 tackles and 2 sacks in 8 games this season.
