Ward appeared in court on Wednesday (February 12, 2014) and pleaded guilty. The improper equipment charge was dismissed after he fixed a broken taillight. He was fined $1,234.50 (DUI) and $216.50 (proof of insurance) and sentenced to attend Mississippi Alcohol Substance Abuse Program and Victims Impact classes.
Ward had 24 tackles and one sack in 13 games last season.
