Rutgers University quarterback Philip Nelson was arrested early Sunday (May 11, 2014) morning in Mankato, Minnesota

Nelson, 20, was arrested around 2 a.m. for allegedly assaulting a Minnesota State-Mankato football player.

Nelson transferred to Rutgers in January after playing two seasons at the University of Minnesota.
